The location is unbeatable in a local area, really close to the centre of Ilfracombe, particular restaurants and trips that are dog friendly and old churches.

The staff were very amiable. The hotel has a perfect location, very close to two of the oldest pubs, both of which are dog friendly and offer very good, reasonably priced menus. It's also near the bus terminus and a large Wetherspoons pub, as well as the beach. The tapas restaurant at the hotel serves nice food.
